Woven by master weaver Shamji Vankar Vishram Valji in Bhujodi, Kutch, the piece is rooted in a region known for its generations-old textile traditions. Through Vankar Vishram Valji Weaving, Shamji bhai works with more than 90 artisan families, helping to preserve the Dhabla weaving tradition while giving it a contemporary expression.
A longstanding advocate for Kala cotton, Shamji bhai has received international recognition for his work, including the UNESCO Seal of Excellence. The handwoven process leaves subtle variations in the texture and finish, celebrating the individuality and human touch behind each piece.
Designed to be lived with, the Ananta Throw can be draped across a sofa, layered on a bed, or used as a warm and tactile accent. A piece of living textile heritage that brings together natural materials, skilled craftsmanship, and a story of community into the home.
