The Sergey Cummerbund introduces a sculptural layer to the waist, bringing structure and definition to softer, more fluid silhouettes. Crafted from a refined silk-wool blend, the fabric combines a subtle sheen with an elegant drape, while the deep ink blue gives the piece a sophisticated, almost nocturnal character.
Designed by Karin Kämpf and made in our atelier in Piemonte, Italy, it draws on the long sartorial history of the cummerbund, whose origins can be traced to the Persian kamarband, meaning waistband. Here, that traditional form is reinterpreted through a contemporary, minimalist lens.
Wear it over a flowing dress, shirt, or relaxed tailoring to define the waist and introduce an unexpected architectural element. Its compact proportions make it an expressive styling piece without overwhelming the look.
Created by House of Nomad Stories, the Sergey Cummerbund reflects an appreciation for craftsmanship, cultural references, and thoughtful design — a distinctive accessory designed to transform the silhouette with a single considered detail.
