The Ghost in Cream by Oberflacht carries a quiet sense of ritual and history. Handcrafted from 80% beeswax and 20% paraffin, its sculptural form is softened by a matte cream surface and a warm, luminous presence.

Every Ghost is made by hand, with subtle variations in shape, colour and weight that reveal the individuality of the process. These natural differences are not flaws, but traces of the craft itself.

Oberflacht takes its name from the ancient burial ground in southern Germany, where some of the earliest known beeswax candles were discovered. That connection between material, memory and ritual light continues in each piece, bringing contemporary form into dialogue with a much older tradition.
