There is something particularly distinctive about denim that carries the traces of another life. These one-of-a-kind jeans by B Sides are reconstructed from vintage Levi’s® 501s, preserving the character of the original denim while introducing an unexpected second layer at the waist.

The relaxed silhouette sits close through the hips before falling into a long-rise, straight leg. A stacked waistband in soft Italian calf suede adds texture and a refined contrast to the worn indigo denim, creating a meeting point between utilitarian heritage and more considered detailing.

Original Levi’s® components remain part of the design, including the nickel shank buttons, brass zip fly, and copper rivets. Each pair also retains its own combination of fading, marks, and natural variations, so no two versions are exactly alike. The 30-inch inseam gives the shape an elongated proportion that works particularly well with cropped silhouettes, simple tees, or tailored layers.

Made in the USA from existing vintage denim, the Double Waistband Rework is less about creating a perfect new pair of jeans and more about giving an existing garment another expression. The result is denim with history, individuality, and a distinctly unexpected finish.
