The Carambola High in Black by Oberflacht is a sculptural candle holder with a strong, architectural presence. Handmade from a blend of 80% beeswax and 20% paraffin, it is defined by a smooth matte surface and a deep black tone that gives the form a sense of depth and quiet drama.
Each piece is accompanied by a matching twig candle, introducing a slender vertical accent against the rounded body and creating a refined composition of light, proportion and material.
Every Carambola is shaped by hand, so subtle variations in colour, texture and form remain visible. These nuances are not imperfections, but part of the object’s character and a direct trace of the making process.
