Handmade in Marrakesh from upcycled vintage Berber rugs, the Aili Babouche is a limited edition slipper, with each pair unique in texture, colour and detail.

A hidden 3.5 cm wedge and padded insole offer comfort and gentle support. The pointed toe and lower cut create an elegant silhouette that moves effortlessly from quiet moments at home to evenings out.

Each pair is handcrafted by Moroccan artisans using traditional techniques. The leather sole makes the Babouches suitable for outdoor wear, although contact with water should be avoided. Small irregularities are part of the vintage textiles’ character and reflect the handmade nature of each pair.

Founded by designer Calla Haynes, CALLA brings Parisian refinement together with Moroccan craftsmanship. As part of the House of Nomad Stories selection, the Aili Babouche gives vintage textiles a new life while honouring the skills and cultural heritage behind them.
